Bird watching
The Swartberg area is rich in a few rare bird species not found elsewhere else. We boast many Cranes, the Cape Vulture, Secretary bird, Denham’s Bustard, Southern Bald Ibis, Pale-crowned Cisticola, Yellow-breasted Pipit, Eastern Longbilled Lark, Baillon’s Crake, African Snipe and any of the Flufftails.
Fishing
